What is the TJC Promise?
In celebration of its 90th anniversary, Tyler Junior College is launching the TJC Promise, an ambitious scholarship program that will put you on the pathway to success!
It's an earned scholarship for eligible high school graduates within the TJC Tax District, including: Chapel Hill, Grand Saline, Lindale, Tyler, Van, Winona.
What does it include?
The TJC Promise will cover your tuition and fees for two years.

Attend an information session at your high school where you and your parents will learn more about the TJC Promise.

Sept. 26, 7 p.m. - PAC
Sept. 27, 7 p.m. - Cafeteria Winona High School
Oct. 3, 6 p.m. - Auditorium Chapel Hill High School
Oct. 11, 6:30 p.m. - Auditorium Grand Saline High School
Oct 24, 6 p.m. - Auditorium
How does it work?
Make the commitment to become a TJC Promise Scholar during your freshman year in high school.
Sign the Promise agreement.
Maintain the following eligibility requirements:
1: Earn a minimum grade-point average in all high school work and prove yourself college ready.
2: Keep an excellent attendance record and graduate on time from high school.
3: Help others and record a minimum number of hours each year in community service.
